24 yo female with a skiing injury. Post op from arthroscopic tibial spine avulsion fracture fixation and open MCL repair with internal brace. Ambulating well with one crutch and rocking straight leg raises. Here we are with my PA at her 3 week post op visit.
Quadriceps tendon repair with patch augmentation
High grade partial quadriceps tendon tear on MRI. Patient failed physical therapy, failed a PRP injection. The tendon looked intact superficially, but poor quality deeper tendon removed, and quad tendon repair with patch augmentation performed.
